Na extensa paisagem de vinha do Bugarrel, em Tomar, a nova casa com um programa familiar, implanta-se calorosamente agarrada ao terreno, propondo uma simplicidade orgânica na exploração da tranquilidade do espaço.
Abrindo-se para a melhor vista, a Nascente, é através de uma subtil inflexão na sua geometria, que a casa cria uma relação mais próxima com a paisagem, garantindo uma melhor exposição solar, permitindo a abertura dos compartimentos interiores “quase” a sul.
In the extensive landscape of the vineyards of Bugarrel, in Tomar, the new house with a family program is implanted warmly attached to the land, proposing an organic design in the exploration of the tranquility of the space.
Opening up to the best view, the East, through a subtle inflection of geometry, the house creates a closer relationship with the landscape, guaranteeing better sun exposure, allowing the interior compartments to open “almost” to the south.

É uma casa que busca uma linguagem própria, que tenta representar o conceito dos melhores exemplos da arquitectura espontânea da região, não deixando por isso de oferecer o conforto de uma moderna casa de família.
Para dar sentido a esta linguagem, tentou-se desenhar a casa com uma série de valores orgânicos tais como: a escala horizontal; os acessos e percursos orgânicos, que articulam a implantação trabalhada em plataformas de leve inclinação, conseguindo assim, acentuar a ligação da construção à terra, e a fragmentação da construção e a não ortogonalidade. A cobertura de telha em plano inclinado, irá acentuar esta distorção.
It is a house that seeks its own language, which tries to represent the concept of the vernacular architecture in the region, offering the comfort of a modern family home. To make sense of this language, we design the house with a series of organic values, such as: the horizontal scale, the accesses and organic pathways that articulate the implantation worked on platforms and the fragmentation of the construction and the non-orthogonality. The sloping roof will accentuate this distortion.
